Founded in after the Spanish Civil war by Carles and Magdalena Sureda, Anxoves de l’Escala, S.A. has become one of the oldest and more important Anchovy Factories in L’Escala.
Currently managed by Don Jonàs Mallart, the heir of the founders, has experienced a fast grown up during the last decades.
The company, very committed to the environment, produces a quality product based on a fresh product and with the traditional preserves techniques. The result is a simple product but of the maximum quality and respectful with the environment and the traditions of anchovy preserves process.
Their products are the most traditional and cover a wide range from anchovies in salt or anchovies in olive oil to anchovies in vinegar.
